One of the lobby’s standout features is the Andon lantern, crafted from Japanese paper by renowned rusty Japanese paper artist Sakiho Ito. The texture of red clay from Shimane’s nature, collected in Hinomisaki, a spot famous for its beautiful sunsets, creates a peaceful atmosphere and evokes the red sunset hues in Shimane.
